The Mindfulness Room in SEEC (S234) is for personal contemplation, meditation, or reflection.

It is open to anyone with a Buff OneCard.

  • Please be respectful of others. This room is adjacent to occupied office space, electronic devices should be silenced or used with headphones on low volume. Please leave the room if you need to talk on our phone.
  • Use the room as intended for mindfulness and contemplation. No studying, sleeping, or eating. Water bottles are allowed.
  • The room is available on a first come, first serve basis. The door to the room does not lock. Please move the magnet to the "occupied" position when in the room and move the magnet back to "vacant" upon completion. Please be mindful of your time.
  • Maximum occupancy is 5 people. It is not to be used for organized services, meetings, or scheduled group events.
  • Personal items may not be left in this room (e.g. prayer rugs, etc.)
  • This room may not be modified in any way, to include hanging religious icons, posters, pictures, etc. Please leave the room as you found it.
  • All furniture must be left in the room, no additional furniture may be added.
  • Flammable items are strictly prohibited due to safety regulations. Please refrain from smoking, burning candles or incense.
  • Please refrain from introducing strong fragrances into the enclosed space.

The terms described above are subject to review and change at any time at the discretion of building management.
